Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with and support the category leaderships teams and Finance Director, Global FP&A and Category Finance to develop all aspects of financial strategy, planning and analysis in addition to managing the flow of financial information to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports and KPIs.

  • Develop financial projections and building financial models.

  • Assist with budgeting and monthly close processes.

  • Understand key business drivers and foreign currency impacts.

  • Support the financial management of the corporate functions and special projects.

  • Partner with the cross-functional leaders to drive positive business results & maximize ROI.

  • Support all aspects of financial strategy, planning and analysis for the Battery, Lights & Auto categories.

  • Serve as a key member of the Global FP&A team partnering with internal stakeholders.

  • Prepare reporting packs, variance analysis, commentaries and presentations as required.

  • Manage the flow of financial information to key stakeholders.

  • Facilitate the A&P process, including Annual Business Plan, quarterly forecasts, monthly accruals, and reporting.

  • Support the SAC financial planning system and BrandMaker A&P tracking tool, as needed.

  • Support SG&A actuals/forecast process for select Global/Corporate colleagues, as needed.

What we are looking for

  • Proven success in a finance department of a similar sized organization, delivering quality output to tight deadlines in a fast-moving commercial environment.

  • Experience of operating in a complex matrix environment & collaborating effectively with internal business partners.

  • BA / BS degree from a leading academic institution (Finance or Accounting preferred); MBA or CPA a strong plus.

  • Minimum four (4) years business experience.

  • Good working knowledge of key business processes (NPD, Go to Market, CAGR, ROI, etc.).

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Open, direct, and respectful communication style with excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • English proficiency required; additional languages beneficial.

  • Experience within the US marketplace; global experience beneficial.

  • Experience supporting cross-functional groups.

  • Strong drive and ability to influence indirectly to achieve results.

  • Desire to roll-up your sleeves to see a project to successful completion.

  • Very proficient in Microsoft Excel; Proficient in PowerPoint and Word.

  • Commercial and Marketing CPG experience.

  • System experience with SAC Planning (or similar financial planning systems), BrandMaker/Uptempo (or similar MRM tools), SAP, S4/Hana (or similar ERP systems), and/or Power BI/Tableau.
