Insight Global Project/Systems Engineer in Saint Louis, Missouri
Job Description
An employer is looking to add a Project/Systems Engineer to their team in St. Louis, MO. This person will be responsible for applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. They will evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. It will be their job to assist in managing high level risks for the projects and determine if requirements are missing any necessary components. They will perform various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. They will work with engineering teams to perform analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. For the Project side, they will be responsible for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.

Skills and Requirements
1-2 years of Systems Engineering experience (electrical or hardware is preferred)
Experience working on interdisciplinary projects (they will be working with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams)
Experience gathering and understanding technical engineering requirements
Skilled in identifying and analyzing project risks
Proficient with MS office suite
Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry Active Secret Clearance
Experience working with MBSE tools/ requirements gathering tools (Doors, CATIA, CAMEO)
Experience working in a lab environment
Experience developing and executing test plans null
