About the role

The Process Improvement Consultant plans, organizes, and monitors the pre-implementation of small to medium-sized deliverables and process improvement initiatives for our defense manufacturing client facilities.

This job is part of the Continuous Improvement & Client Performance function. The Process Improvement Consultant is responsible for reducing the risk of defects in all products and processes by creating playbooks, SOPs, and process improvement for facilities operations.

What you’ll do

Work with other teams to manage alignment between company processes and business objectives to optimize performance.

Coordinate with process and technology managers to define technology requirements.

Develop and maintain process development and optimization programs. Update documentation of process overviews, details, and process flows.

Make process design and development recommendations to standardize, improve, or redesign processes to meet business needs.

Research and resolve issues identified in the processes and systems of a client’s organization.

Design and implement new processes to improve service delivery and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job field and broad knowledge of several job subject areas within the function.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams working within broad guidelines and policies.

Explain sophisticated and/or sensitive information to all levels of the organization.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.

  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis

  • sis of multiple sources of information.

  • Advanced communication skills with superior written communication skills.

  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with strong MS Word skills. SharePoint knowledge is a plus.

  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.

  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
