Job Summary:

Akima Intra-Data is looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer for our project in St. Louis. Great opportunity to contribute from the ground floor of construction of a new facility!

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • The lead ME is a full-time, on-site position and will serve as the subject-matter-expert on all mechanical systems.

  • Advise contractor's HVAC technicians in troubleshooting system malfunctions.

  • Review preventive/predictive maintenance plans.

  • Perform overall capacity management (maintain building calculations to manage supply available with loads required); and ensure building modifications comply with code requirements and original design intent.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

  • The Lead Mechanical Engineer is required to be a licensed and registered professional engineer.

  • Must have experience advising HVAC technicians in troubleshooting system malfunctions

  • Minimum of five years of related experience

  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AUTOCAD, BIM and Revit applications and standards is a plus.

  • The Lead Mechanical Engineer is required certified in LEED for Building Operations and Maintenance.

  • An active DoD TS/SCI w/ CI poly is preferred.

  • Knowledge of various preventive maintenance models desirable.
