The traveling Electrical Assistant Superintendent works closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure timely, quality, and successful completion of the project. This individual may be solely responsible for a segment of the project, and/or have Engineers/Interns reporting to them.

This is a full-time, site-based position that requires extensive travel to locations that span the continental U.S. Travel subsistence and additional incentives provided per company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing project chart of accounts, CPM schedule, subcontracts/purchase orders and project responsibility listing Coordinate, implement and monitor Project Engineer training and development Provide administrative support for the Project Superintendent and leadership to project staff Assist Superintendent with coordinating activities, schedule, material procurement, project logistics Track, review and process change proposal requests, change orders and claims Implement all applicable safety, EEO and Affirmative Action programs Assist in establishing, maintaining and leading the on-site Total Quality Management process Manage preparation/execution of project closeout process

Skills and Qualifications

4+ years of experience with electrical construction projects Advanced knowledge of electrical construction principles/practices required General knowledge of construction principles/processes required Experience building relationships with owners and managing field staff Proven commitment to safety Ability to travel 100% nationwide

For California locations only, the salary range for this position is: $93,800 - $119,200. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.

For Colorado locations only, In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB19-085), we are including McCarthy's good-faith and reasonable estimate of a range of entry level base compensation at the time of the posting. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Given the dynamic nature of the large-scale commercial construction industry, a candidate's project portfolio and background can change the role and compensation for which that candidate might be qualified. The title and pay range for this role could change based on candidate qualifications and experience. Pay Range: $84,200 - $99,400
