Clarios, LLC EHS Intern (Manufacturing Facility) - WD34654 in Saint Joseph, Missouri

What You Will Do

  • Audit our facility for compliance to 1910.147 (OSHA Hazardous Energy Control Standard).
  • Identify gaps from the Energy Control audit and develop a plan of action to mitigate our energy control program gaps.
  • Actions related to this action plan may include but are not limited to: developing Energy Control procedures, modifying existing Energy Control procedures, developing an Authorized and Affected employee energy control training program.
  • Audit our clean/dirty room process.
  • Identify gaps for our clean/dirty room process and develop a plan of action to improve our clean/dirty room process.
  • Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Assist with auditing other EHS disciplines.
  • Assist with the development of additional key performance metrics and managing our communication to our employees.
  • A ssist in conducting conformance and compliance assessments and audits.
  • Additional activities upon request.

How You Will Do It

  • Building and modifying energy control procedures utilizing Brady 360 software.
  • Building a PowerPoint presentation for Authorized and Affected employee training. This training will then be recorded using electronic media to be utilized for future use.
  • Building plans for gap assessments utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, Word or other electronic presentation formats.

What We Look For

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Duration: Summer 2024. Up to 40 hours per week. Part-time during the school year may be available.
  • Working Arrangements: On-site based at our manufacturing facility in St. Joseph, MO
