Utilities Service, LLC Logistics Specialist in Saint Johns, Michigan
We are currently seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Warehouse General Foreman this position will be responsible and accountable for supporting and coordinating the transportation of electrical utility materials and equipment to support field personal in the regions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Preferred knowledge of shipping and receiving operation
Must be willing to travel to all regions within the company footprint to participate in training and job duties
Hazards: Works around hazardous equipment.
May be subjected to high intensity and stressful situations.
Exposed to traffic and mobile equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma – College degree preferred
Knowledge of shipping and receiving operation
Must have cognition to concentrate on the work for an 8 to 10-hour day.
3 + years of dispatching or logistics coordination
Preferred knowledge of shipping and receiving operation
Familiar with DOT permitting requirements, rules and regulations
Must be willing to travel to all regions within the company footprint to participate in training and job duties
Manager order processing through Peoplesoft (experience preferred)
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Be available during off-duty hours.
Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Must be able to work independently or in a group environment
Strong troubleshooting skills
Strong computer skills in Microsoft applications
Able to work in all related ROWs, Stations and Facilities.
