Nexeo Staffing Print Shop Production Worker in SAINT GEORGE, Utah
Nexeo HR is seeking a Print Shop Production Worker. This position includes producing and finishing fabric graphics,signs,decals,vinyl banners,billboards & trade show booths. Production workers utilize various equipment,laminators,C&C routers,hand tools,and industrial sewing machines - following standardized sheets,drawings,samples,and verbal instructions.
*Responsibilities *
Assist print production including cutting,finishing,laminating,etc. while maintaining quality standards.
Collaborate with the design team to understand project specifications,layouts,and finishing requirements.
Operate cutting machines,laminators,heat presses,and adhesive applicators to finalize graphics and signage materials.
Trim,mount,and laminate printed graphics onto various substrates while maintaining precision and alignment.
Apply finishing techniques such as cutting,trimming,mounting,laminating,and applying adhesives to create visually appealing and durable signs.
Inspect finished signs for quality and accuracy,ensuring colors,sizes,and finishing details match design specifications and make necessary adjustments or corrections as needed.
Collaborate with production team members to coordinate project workflow and ensure deadlines are met.
Maintain equipment and tools,performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
*Qualifications *
Attention to Detail: Precision is essential in sign finishing. You'll need to pay close attention to every detail,ensuring that graphics are aligned correctly,colors are accurate,and materials are cut and finished precisely.
Hand-Eye Coordination: Graphic Sign Finishers often work with various tools and equipment,such as cutting tools,laminators,and mounting devices. Good hand-eye coordination is necessary to perform tasks accurately.
Familiarity with Materials: Understanding different types of materials used in signage production,such as vinyl,acrylic,metal,and fabric,is important. This knowledge helps you choose the right materials for specific projects and apply appropriate finishing techniques.
Experience with tools and equipment commonly used in finishing,such as cutting machines,laminators,and heat presses.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges related to finishing processes.
Previous print shop experience.

$16.50 Per Hour
Schedule
4:00pm 1:00am | Monday - Friday
