our dynamic team and contribute to our growing success.

Job Overview: As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation,

maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in a commercial setting. You will work closely with

other electricians, contractors, and clients to ensure that all electrical work is completed to the

highest standards, following local and national electrical codes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems in various settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic work on electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
  • Collaborate with other trades and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
  • Mentor and guide apprentices, providing training and instruction as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and practices, ensuring a safe work environment.

     

Qualifications:

  • Valid Utah Journeyman Electrician license
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
