Your New Role

This position supports the on-going operations of the hosted ERP and EDI systems along with the implementation of modifications and enhancements to the manufacturing system ensuring reliability and currency for all company requirements.  

As a System Analyst ERP you will
  • Support the activities of manufacturing staff in systems analysis, design, programming, and implementation
  • Set the methodologies for program and system documentation ensuring system integrity
  • Support staff for the iSeries network services 
  • Maintains communication tools such as phone systems, radios, paging and notification systems
  • Manage the release of updates from the system vendor
  • Manage AS/400 network system hardware and software providing response times and availability to network users
  • Manage the provision of off-hours user and system support at all times (24/7 support)
  • Report any unsafe or unhealthy conditions immediately.
  • Attend training as required or as assigned.
  • Know the operating instructions for all equipment and processes where you are assigned. Know the pre start-up inspection process, hazards, protective measures, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, start and stop procedures and equipment limitations.
What you will need to be successful in this role
  • Degree/Diploma preferred, or combination of certification in Information Technology, Systems Administration or Business Systems and equivalent work experience
  • Experience in administration of Windows 2012, 2016, 2019 servers, Windows 10 environment
  • Automotive manufacturing IT experience
  • Excellent knowledge of electronic data interchange technologies (EDI), manufacturing systems, and manufacturing methodologies
  • CMS ERP System

  • Inventory management                      
  • EDI data, structures and methodologies                 
  • Shop floor control to support data collection systems
