Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a General Production Worker, where you will be crucial in handling the production of oil coolers for transmissions. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading parts weighing between 5-20 pounds from machines, conducting visual inspections of the parts, and ensuring proper packaging. Beyond machine operation, you will maintain the cleanliness and organization of your work area, which includes sweeping and breaking down boxes.

Shifts:

2nd/3rd shifts available

Initial training will be on the 1st shift for 2 weeks, after which you will transition to your assigned shift. Note that the role requires flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days a week following training.

Work Environment

The work setting hosts 200 employees and 40 contractors in a facility that includes 10 assembly lines and 13 presses in the s&r area. It's important to note that the environment is quite loud, requiring safety goggles and ear plugs at all times. While it does get hot in the summer, a new ventilation system was installed last fall to improve air circulation. Dress code includes jeans, a company shirt, and steel-toe boots.
