RB About the role Manages the areas of Production, Planning, Projects and Materials in the Custom Manufacturing Operations based in Logistic Center to insure that safety, quality, labor, inventory and customer service targets are achieved consistently. This role is responsible for 2 nd shift production and the expected working hours are Hours are 3:30 PM - 11:30PM.Key Responsibilities Ensures the compliance to safety policies of Reckitt Benckiser as well as compliance to the appropriate local safety and environmental regulations.Ensures Company's compliance with all appropriate regulations, rules, policies and procedures (i.e. government, Corporate, Company, Logistic Center and department - EEOC, OSHA, EPA, FDA, GMAggressively pursue long term Direct Labor cost reductions by implementing strategic use Lean Techniques to reduce costs and re-engineer work-flows on the custom floor.Guide efforts to insure compliance with all applicable Good Manufacturing Practices and requirements. Update and modify site-operating procedures as required in cooperation with Regional Center Quality Management.Serve as a key liaison between the Logistics Centers and the Commercial Divisions in the development and fulfillment of customer specific promotions. (CSP's, Pallet Programs)Manage the flow of Custom Manufactured goods into the Logistics Centers and Distribution Centers to insure all sites achieve the desired levels of performance in cost, service, and communicationEnsures all EPD/NPD projects are executed flawlessly and obsolescence are controlled when projects are completed.Coordinate the customer order hold activity with customer service on any issue with a display made in any Custom Manufacturing department within the Eastern Region. Work with all Custom Manufacturing departments on any orders that are held because of delays with components and expedite as required.Reviews existing Standard Operating Procedures and works with areas to develop new Sop's to emphasize defect prevention techniques.Participates and support NPD/EPD product/processes introductions and approvals.Insures production floor personnel are using the proper QA systems to ensure we are using the correct components and finished goods and takes corrective actions when requiredIs this You? Bachelors/Masters degree in engineering, business, or related field2-3 years management experience or project management experience3-5 years experience in Consumer Goods, Chemical Industries, or Packaging is an assetExperience with ISO and GMP regulationsDemonstrated knowledge and experience working with Quality systemsDemonstrated leadership skillsDemonstrated financial understandingProficient in Microsoft OfficeWhy RB?
