STS. JOACHIM AND ANN CARE SERVICE Social Service Worker in Saint Charles, Missouri

The Care Service has an immediate need for a full-time (40 hours a week) Social Service Worker to provide comprehensive case management for homeless individuals and families in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren Counties.

Responsibilities include utilizing assessment tools to focus on basic needs of the homeless, helping stabilize those in immediate crisis, establishing a long term plan for recovery, re-assessing and measuring success.This candidatemusthave a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a like field. Preferred 1+ years' experience with intensive case management, interviewing methods, case planning and documentation experience.

We will consider recent college graduates with practicum experience. Candidate must have effective communication skills, verbally and in writing. Candidate must have reliable transportation for home visits (mileage reimbursement available).

FYI- the Care Service has recently gone to an alternative schedule. After employees have passed their 90-day probationary period employees are able to go to a 4 day- 10-hour workday. This is not mandatory.
