**[Salary Range: Min $34,618.93 per year - Mid $41,785.07 per year

[JOB OVERVIEW: [The purpose of this position is to perform floor care and cleaning tasks within County Department for Correction facility. - Performs regular floor and carpet care cleaning tasks to include, but not limited to, regular vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.

``` - Scrubs, buffs, waxes and strips vinyl and terrazzo flooring. Cleans carpet by spot cleaning and thorough carpet extraction on occasional basis.

``` - Regularly power washes housing unit showers and bathrooms in the secured areas of the facility.

``` - Cleans and disinfects restrooms and locker rooms, both public and secured areas of the building. Polish mirrors and faucets, cleans sinks, toilet, and urinal fixtures, cleans partitions, lockers and wall tile.

``` - Disinfects high touch areas throughout the facility.

``` - Cleans and polishes drinking fountains.

``` - Dusts windowsills, ledges, counters and work surfaces/areas as required.

``` - Cleans interior glass and windows as needed.

``` - Replenishes soap and paper supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and dayrooms. Stocks janitorial supplies.

``` - Empties trash containers and removes debris.

``` - Moves furniture and equipment as needed for deeper cleaning and floor care procedures.

``` - Notifies Facilities Support Supervisor when supplies are low, trash container or dispensers are damaged or broken.

``` - Initiates and completes custodial related work orders.

``` - Maintains knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting practices and procedures and perform job duties in a safe manner.
