We are looking to hire an Ultrasound Technologist for our Radiology Department in Boise! This position will be located at our largest hospital off I-84 and Curtis Rd.
As an Ultrasound Tech with Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients of all ages, while accurately documenting the services, supplies, and medications provided to the patient. You will handle scheduling and obtaining patient history, evaluate the appropriateness of requested exams, and assist radiologists. You will also be expected to travel between sites as needed, and respond within 30 minutes when on call.
Our ideal candidate has knowledge of the equipment and instruments/supplies pertinent to high quality exams, and has the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families. He or she is able to work independently and make productive use of their time.
License/Certification Requirements:
Must be a registered Ultrasound Technologist, or registry eligible at the time of hire and obtain RDMS credential within one year of employment
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required
Active driving privileges required
ABD and OB/GYN registries required within one year of employment
Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by ARRT preferred
