West Virginia Employer Entry-Level Manager Trainee in Saint Albans, West Virginia

The Management Trainee role is a full-time, entry-level position within the management track. This position involves learning all aspects of store operations with the aim of advancing to a managerial position. Promotions can occur within the first 6-12 months based on performance and availability, potentially resulting in a significant increase in annual salary. Typically, Trainees advance to General Manager positions within three to four years. Manager Trainees must adhere to a prescribed learning plan and course of study within a designated timeframe and should be open to relocation for managerial roles. Responsibilities include: Sales within a retail setting. Handling freight and forklift operation, including training and certification. Generating material estimates from blueprints. Managing and organizing store inventory and merchandise. Conducting payroll, invoicing, and managing inventory and POS systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with previous experience preferred. Interpretation and analysis of common financial reports. Ability to read blueprints and create material lists. Addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
