Aps Employment Services, Inc Maintenance Mechanic in SAGINAW, Michigan

We have an immediate opening for a Machine Maintenance Technician at a local heat treating facility.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

Assisting in both repairs and ongoing maintenance of a heat-treating plant, learning and performing repairs including, but not limited to; mechanical, welding/fabricating, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and electrical functions of equipment,conduct routine inspections of machines

Required/Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Welding & Electrical
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Heat Treat, automotive, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
  • Eager to learn
  • Dependable
  • Organized
  • Work at a fast pace in an ever-changing environment
  • Problem solve issues
  • Manage time efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Attention to detail.
  • Perform and thoroughly understand safety procedures

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years minimum of relevant manufacturing experience is a PLUS

Shift:

  • Monday-Friday, 5:00am to 3:30pm
  • Sunday-8 hours
  • Saturdays off
