DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Summary: In this role, you'll leverage your knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, troubleshooting, and quality control standards to enhance our manufacturing efficiency and product quality. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing our production processes, ensuring the highest quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:  * Utilizing technical knowledge and problem-solving techniques to develop, test, implement, and troubleshoot processes to maximize production effectiveness.  * Collaborate with Operations to ensure alignment with documented processes and adherence to customer standards.  * Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth production operations.  * Estimate production times and related costs to aid management decisions.  * Design layouts of equipment and workspace to optimize production processes.  * Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow for maximum efficiency.  * Evaluate products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.  * Maintain adherence to 5S standards and follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.

Qualifications:  * Technical degree, Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.  * 2 or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering preferred.  * Strong machining background with CNC programming experience  * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.  * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  * Design expertise and proficiency in relevant software tools.
