Summary: An Inpection B performs diversified inspection of products utilizing pre-determined and prescribed methods and procedures using standardized inspection instruments for the purpose of inspecting mass produced parts in accordance with applicable production and quality standards and meeting customer build specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Visually inspect all parts for missing or incomplete operations.
  • Gage and indicate machined characteristics to quality standards.
  • Perform some lab operations.
  • Work from drawings, routers and specifications provided for allowable tolerances.
  • Use micrometers, gauges, overlays, comparators, master/checking fixtures, measuring microscopes and CMM and computer equipment.
  • Ability to recognize, reject, mark or tag defective parts.
  • Filing finished data sheets to ensure records are accurate.
  • Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations. 

Hours: 40 - M-F; Day, Evening, Night shifts
