Position Overview

Bonneville Sacramento is seeking a responsible, hard working, creative and dedicted full-time Promotion Coordinator to join our team. Ideal candidate must be organized with great attention to detail, energetic, efficient and capable of multi-tasking in a lively, fast-paced environment while working under tight deadlines, and bringing a positive attitude to the workplace.

Note:Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion.

  • Requires a flexible schedule and ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

What You Will Do:

Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Staying in touch with sales and programming departments to acquire all elements needed for promotions/giveaways
  • Facilitate station contesting and fulfillment of prize distribution in accordance with station policies and rules
  • Enter, maintain, and track all in-house prize and winner information, including maintaining prize folders for auditing purposes
  • Creating PAFs, winner sheets, contest blogs, code words, eblasts, week in previews and form fills for contest
  • Maintain cash contests and ensuring all required information is received by finance to fulfill prizing
  • Work closely with Promotion Director and legal department to prepare contest rules, ensuring rules are up to date on company websites.
  • Create graphics and video
  • Create and maintain content on station and social media platforms
  • Assist writing broadcast and online contest copy and administrate contest execution
  • Assist with communicating weekly prize and contest information to station staff
  • Attend station events and assist with event set-up, execution, and tear down
  • Interact with listeners and clients in a friendly, professional manner
  • Other marketing/promotional duties as assigned by manager and Program Director

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For:

  • A valid driver license and clean driving record in a must
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be able to workdays, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead, train, and inspire other promotions staff
  • Self-starter, work well under pressure, and accept responsibility for work while performing under moderate supervision
  • Must be reliable, responsible, dependable and able to fulfill obligations
  • Willing to be flexible with work environment; i.e. working outdoors in any condition, at festivals, local business, etc.
  • Experience with photo and video editing software a plus
  • Knowledge of and proficient use of Wordpress a plus

Physical Demands

  • Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
  • Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
  • Lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds consistently
  • Able to set up 10x10 tent on your own
  • Willing to be flexible with work environment, i.e., working outdoors in any condition, at festivals, local business, etc.

Compensation Range

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Salary/Hourly rate will be determined by an evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal and external benchmarks.
