Description

Amanda Warren is offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Sacramento, California. The role involves managing invoicing, accounts payable, and vendor communications in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process student tuition invoices and tuition assistance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Handle incoming payments and update parent accounts as necessary.

• Respond to parent inquiries and provide regular reports to the management team.

• Prepare necessary documents for the collection agency when required.

• Oversee accounts payable by processing invoices and ensuring prompt, accurate vendor payments.

• Adhere to internal controls, approval processes, and accounts payable procedures for compliance.

• Allocate expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice and expense reports.

• Prepare accounts payable checks and ACH batches for processing.

• Engage with vendors to resolve any payment or invoice discrepancies.

• Monitor accounts payable aging report and address outstanding invoices promptly.

• Prepare and process electronic payments and checks for signature.

• Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash effectively.

• Prepare 1099 forms as part of the role.

• Deposit checks following cash receipt policies.

• Provide additional support for accounting and finance functions as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Must have skills in managing Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Familiarity with Billing procedures is essential.

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently.

• Experience in Invoice Processing is a must.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Experience with Oracle software is beneficial.

• Knowledge of QuickBooks software is preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP software is advantageous.
