Robert Half's client in Arizona is seeking a Cerner Clinical Applications RN Trainer/Educator. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Cerner Clinical Applications RN Trainer/Educator. As part of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of healthcare technology and make a meaningful impact on patient care.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a strong background in Cerner Clinical Applications to serve as a Trainer/Educator. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Cerner applications and workflows, along with exceptional communication and teaching skills. This individual will be responsible for training and educating healthcare professionals on the effective use of Cerner Clinical Applications, troubleshooting tickets, and providing assistance with suggestions and solutions in Community Works.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions for healthcare professionals on the use of Cerner Clinical Applications, including but not limited to PowerChart, Millennium, and Community Works.

  • Develop training materials, resources, and documentation to support educational initiatives.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff and IT professionals to identify training needs and opportunities for process improvement.

  • Provide support and guidance to end-users on best practices for utilizing Cerner applications to improve patient care and workflow efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve tickets related to Cerner Clinical Applications, escalating issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.

  • Stay current on updates and developments in Cerner software and recommend enhancements or modifications to improve system functionality.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Cerner applications, offering expertise and guidance to colleagues and end-users.

  • Participate in the testing and implementation of new features or upgrades to Cerner Clinical Applications.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of [insert number] years of experience working with Cerner Clinical Applications, with a focus on Community Works preferred.

  • Proven ability to effectively train and educate healthcare professionals on the use of healthcare technology.
