Need 3 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Sabin, MN. From: 03/01/2024 - 12/15/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. -Fri. 8 hrs./day As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Must Apply By: 07/24/2024 NOTE: Due to system rules, this job order will close before the recruitment period elapses on 07/24/2024, however a new job order will be created and posted for the remainder of the recruitment period. JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties include drive and operate farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as planting, cultivation, harvesting of crops corn & beans. Workers will drive tractors installed with GPS and operate designated towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed and fertilize. They will haul materials, supplies or crops to designated locations. Routine maintenance will be done on all equipment & grounds. Workers must be able to work independently after given instructions and must be a team player when needed. Employer is alcohol/tobacco free workplace. Cell phone usage is limited to business related calls only. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of (3) months experience required. Able to lift up to 60 lbs. To comply with Federal, State and County regulations must be willing to obtain an appropriate driver's license (Class D) within two months of employment. If applicant does have a license, applicant must furnish employer with current drivers abstract showing acceptable driving record. No high school diploma/GED required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
