Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Project Assistant to join our team. This role will primarily involve visiting construction sites and assisting project managers in various tasks related to estimating and bidding. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Site Visits and Analysis:

Conduct regular visits to construction sites to observe ongoing projects.

Collaborate with project managers to assess progress, identify challenges, and gather necessary information for estimating and bidding.

Estimating and Cost Analysis:

Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project expenses.

Utilize historical data, industry benchmarks, and on-site observations to refine estimates and ensure competitiveness.

Bid Preparation:

Support the preparation of comprehensive bid proposals for clients, ensuring alignment with project requirements and budget constraints.

Coordinate with internal teams to compile necessary documentation, including scope of work, schedules, and pricing details.

Client Interaction:

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, address inquiries, and provide relevant project information.

Collaborate with project managers to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and maintain positive client relationships.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of site visits, project data, and bid documents.

Generate reports and summaries to track project progress, expenses, and performance metrics.
