Job Description:

We are looking for a Market Development Engineer - Power who will join our team in France (Rungis or Lyo n and be responsible either for the North part or and South part of France and work with our clients and vendors on delivering the best level of engineering services in this region by building strong business relations with our clients based on technical expertise in the power industry sector.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • The role is a mix of engineering 40% and sales abilities 60 %,

  • Knowledge off AC/DC, DC/DC and inverter power supplies and complete value add solutions from our portfolio of world-class power supply manufacturer partners and from our own engineering resource,

  • Grow the regions power supply bookings, billings, profit, and design wins in line with the monthly, quarterly, and annual targets

  • Work collaboratively with our field-based FAE sales teams and account managers to maximize the number of opportunities entering the power sales funnel, increasing the possible number of opportunities to close.

  • Uncover and extract our existing customer base power needs and convert them into bookings and to also identify new customers in our focus markets and applications, in line with our strategy.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • At least 5 years of experience on a role combining engineering and sales activities in the power industry f. ex Market Development Engineer, Sales Engineer or Field Application Engineer,

  • Ability to create strong relations with clients and manage their expectations,

  • The expectation is to be with customers 3-4 days per week

  • Strong presentation and communications skills are required to be successful in this role,

  • University degree in a technical field , preferred in electronic engineering,

  • English at least on B2 level is required to be successful in this role,

  • Knowledge of French language is necessary,

  • Driving license.
