Olsen Mechanical, Inc. is a small HVAC company located in Greeley, PA, specializing in servicing a diverse range of heating systems. We are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and service, with a primary focus on electric heat pump installations. Our dedicated team takes pride in delivering top-notch solutions to meet our clients' heating needs.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC systems, particularly with electric heat pumps. The Service Technician will play a crucial role in upholding Olsen Mechanical's commitment to excellence in service and customer satisfaction. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities: Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various heating systems; Perform new installations, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines; Participate in a rotating schedule for weekend on-call duties to address emergency service requests; Work independently and efficiently manage time and resources; Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and efficient service delivery; Communicate effectively with clients to explain service procedures, address concerns, and provide recommendations for system optimization.

Qualifications: 1. Preferred: 2-5 years education or experience in HVAC 2. Familiarity with electric heat pumps and other heating systems. 3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. 4. Excellent communication and customer service skills. 5. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. 6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. 7. Desire to learn and grow in the trade

Work Distribution: - 60% of the time dedicated to service work - 40% of the time allocated to new installations - Participation in a rotating weekend on-call schedule

Compensation: - Starting pay is $24 per hour for candidates with relevant experience and/or completion of an HVAC specific career training program. $18-20/hour for training candidates. Pay may be negotiated based on relevant experience - First raise within 6 months based on performance and skills development. - Health insurance stipend - Company paid training and continuing education opportunities through Ferguson, Peirce Phelps, Mitsubishi, etc
