Conn's HomePlus Lead Associate, Cross Dock in Round Rock, Texas

Overview: The Lead Associate, Crossdock primary duty is to execute accurate inventory practices, provide excellent customer service for pick up orders, and support completion of white glove home delivery routes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities: The Lead Associate, Cross Dock responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Checking-in product received at the assigned cross dock.

  • Managing the site’s inventory control, which includes preparing the necessary reports to document the results of stock checks, cycle counts and other inventory audit procedures.

  • Resolving any delivery or customer service issues that arise.

  • Assisting with any other tasks or special projects as assigned by the Cross Dock Manager.

  • Complete home delivery routes to company standards.

  • Support in-home delivery and installation when Home Delivery and Installation Specialist is out of office.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

  • Computer and clerical experience preferred.

  • Must be able to constantly work in an open/outdoor warehouse environment.

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.

  • High school diploma or GED is required.

Preferred Experience

  • 2+ years working in a cross dock or warehouse distribution center.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Professional in appearance and manner.

  • Able to communicate professionally.

  • Detailed and able to multi-task and shift priorities, as required.

  • Must be able to perform white glove home delivery.

  • Can lift 75 lbs. unassisted, and up to 250 lbs. with assistance.

  • Must be able to occasionally position self to maintain/move product throughout the facility and be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.

Working Conditions:

  • Full time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must be able to work in an open/outdoor warehouse environment and outdoor conditions.

  • May require prolonged periods of standing, walking, and lifting.
