Micross Components 1st Shift Operator (Machine Operator) in Round Rock, Texas

Description

Multi-disciplined operator to run production processes utilizing robotic equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with tape and reel equipment.

  • Perform BGA deballing/reballing.

  • Manually load matrix trays with tweezers for machine presentation and use.

  • Translate customer specifications and drawings.

  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition.

  • Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Follow clean room and other environmental precautions and procedures as required.

Tools and Equipment Used:

  • Inspection tools and equipment

  • Measuring equipment, such as calipers and comparator

  • Microscope

Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1-3 years of experience preferred

  • Previous working experience in an ESD setting preferred

  • Experience with JESD 625 – JEDEC STANDARD Requirements for Handling

  • General knowledge of J-STD-001 Soldered Electrical & Electronic Assemblies

  • General knowledge of AS9100 as well as ISO 9001:2008

Job Skills:

  • Mechanically inclined individual

  • Strong hands-on approach to Quality Inspection

  • Ability to exercise flexibility with quickly changing data requests.

  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.
