Description We are seeking an Engineering Project Manager I to join our team in Round Lake, Illinois. This role is critical for managing and driving projects to successful completion by employing best practices and effective stakeholder management. You will primarily focus on capital projects within our drug delivery site and play a pivotal role in the future of our business.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital facility projects by developing scopes of work and user requirements, participating in design reviews, and leading execution.

• Monitor construction activities to ensure quality standards are met and cost goals are achieved.

• Implement, administer, and control documentation related to projects in both narrative and drawing forms.

• Collaborate with suppliers, challenging them on timelines and technical aspects.

• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure that projects are on track and completed within designated timelines.

• Plan activities and tasks as part of project management using dedicated management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Excel.

• Foster a team management philosophy in all appropriate decision-making processes.

• Utilize your leadership skills to coordinate contractors and execute project tasks effectively.

• Apply engineering principles and best practices to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

• Ensure compliance with relevant principles such as GMPs and FDA guidelines. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Demonstrable experience in Engineering Project Management

• Solid understanding of Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Proven ability in planning and executing projects within set timelines

• Hands-on experience with project management tools

• Strong leadership skills with a track record of effective team management

• Ability to ensure quality in all project components

• Capable of managing suppliers and maintaining good relationships

• Experience in facility management and construction

• Knowledge of engineering best practices and principles

• Proven ability to draft and interpret technical drawings

• Experience in capital management

• Skilled in the implementation of project strategies

• Demonstrable experience with 'About Time' software

• Proficient in the documentation of project processes and outcomes

• Experience in understanding and meeting user requirements

• Entrepreneurial mindset to drive project success

• Ability to adapt to changing project needs and timelines
