Job Purpose and Impact

The purpose of the production planner is to be the all-round specialist by having the holistic view for the responsible location with taking all supply chain elements into consideration. Planning the weekly production schedules, inbound and outbound activities for all handles and produced products in out Multi-Oil location in Botlek, Rotterdam. Daily adjustments of the planning to ensure a smooth process by taking production challenges, quality deviation and/or customer changes and requirements into consideration. Daily stock follow-up and validation of raw material products, semi-finished products and by-products to ensure a proper tank allocation and usage.

Key Accountabilities

  • 40% production planning, 40% planning coordination, 5% cost control, 15% cross functional collaboration and active member of on-site meetings.

  • Assist in setting inventory planning metrics targets.

  • Develop gap coverage plans during inventory shortages.

  • Help generate and execute cycle stock and safety stock plans for the assigned product or location, using the approved supply plan inputs.

  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in areas of supply chain management or business administration

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of experience in supply chain planning

  • Fluent in local language (Dutch) and a good level of English (verbal and written)

  • Available to be on-site in the Botlek location 4 days a week, 1 day of homeworking.
