**About New Mexico Military Institute: NMMI is a state-supported, co-educational college preparatory high school and junior college, complete with Junior and Senior ROTC programs. With a Corps of Cadets numbering up to 1,000 young men and women, NMMI provides an accredited college preparatory curriculum on the high school level and is currently developing a new middle school.

Position: Under the direction of the President/ Superintendent and Chief Financial Officer, the Human Resources/Title IX Director plans, leads, directs, develops, and coordinates the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resources/Title IX Department. This position is responsible for ensuring legal compliance and implementation utilizing internal policies, practices, and federal and state employment law. The HR/Title IX Director must continuously work toward NMMIs mission and vision through the departments strategic initiatives. This is an exempt, 12-month, full-time position. ]{lang="EN"}**

Tasks:

  • Supervises the Human Resources/Title IX staff.
  • Support NMMI faculty, staff, and leadership.
  • Investigates and develops an institutional position relative to formal and informal complaints.
  • Develop policies and procedures that support consistent and legal practices.
  • Acts as a resource for supervisors and employees regarding employee relations.
  • Works collaboratively with the Title IX Coordinator.
  • Other duties assigned.

  • Ability to assist in conflict resolution as a conflict facilitator.
