Rallye Motor Company Maintenance Assistant - Mercedes-Benz in Roslyn, New York

The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premier luxury automotive group, has an immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant role with Mercedes-Benz! Seeking energetic, reliable and motivated individuals with general building maintenance experience to join our winning team! The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term position where they can utilize their handy-man skills to engage with an outstanding team with a proven track record of success!

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Examine the facility to identify necessary repair or maintenance items that may not be included in the work schedule, and communicate to the Lead Maintenance Tech.

  • Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed supplies.

  • Understand and follow Federal, State and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.

  • Assist in snow removal as needed.

  • Conduct a daily walk around to locate any problem areas.

  • Report to management any major improvements needed.

  • Repair any minor problems found.

RATE OF PAY: $22.00 Per Hour

Requirements

  • Clean and valid driver's license.

  • Proven experience in general maintenance and handyman work.

  • Previous experience maintaining a large facility a plus.

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and organization skills

  • Good facility analytical and problem-solving skills.
