We are seeking a mechanically inclined and highly motivated individual to perform electronic water leak detections! American Leak Detection is the world leader in non-invasive leak detection and our Sacramento office has an immediate opening for a Leak Detection Field Technician with experience in electronic leak detection of plumbing systems and pools, repairs, direct access, and bypasses. The applicant will locate water leaks and solve water infiltration issues for both residential and commercial clients. Job Responsibilities would include: * Diagnosing water leak issues and following techniques developed by ALD. * Creating professionally written reports to effectively describe the leak issue. * Extending courtesy and thoughtfulness to all customers - we are there to solve their problem! * Regularly communicating with office staff and Technician Manager. * Must be able, on occasion, to work after hours and weekends. * Travel is required (includes company supplied vehicle) Our service area is the Greater Sacramento area up to around Lake Tahoe. * Inspects and survey systems for the cause and origin of concealed leaks * Performs leak detection work on piping systems, pools and spas, and use electronic equipment, inert gases and plugs to detect leaks * Completes, maintains and processes paperwork and collect payment for services * Assist in the test of parts and equipment, as well as in the maintaining of proper parts and equipment stock levels * Supports all technical work dispatched * Performs repair work on plumbing systems for clients * Provides professional courteous customer service Our Ideal Candidate: * Has 3-4 years of water leak detection experience.
