Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for receiving, storing, updating and submitting documentation on a project’s equipment fleet to the Wanzek Equipment Department. Utilized on projects that have more than 100 pieces of equipment at any point.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintains accurate inventory tracking documents for project equipment.

  • Manages and files all on-site equipment documents, inspections and photographs.

  • Tracks all equipment inspection documentation to ensure 100% of required inspections are completed and submitted by the assigned employee.

  • Communicates daily with Wanzek Site Mechanic and Construction Manager(s) to track equipment location, repair status, and assignment of equipment to employees.

  • Updates and submits documentation to the Equipment Department including locator lists, project maintenance summaries, equipment inspections, invoices for parts/services/repairs, work order requests, work order updates

  • Sets up and maintains reports and databases as requested

  • All other duties as assigned

  • Cross train with other administrative assistances on-site (if applicable) to serve as back-up

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in administrative support position

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Wanzek’s Zero Injury principles

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task
