Position Description:

Position Summary:

The Information Technology (IT) Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for partnering with RH IT teams and stakeholders to help ensure IT delivers quality products, services, and solutions to the Reyes Family of Businesses (RFOB). This role focuses on validating that the products, services, and solutions that IT delivers adhere to quality standards (requirements) and meet customer requirements and expectations.

The role is also responsible for ensuring the IT organization and suppliers adhere to IT programs, policies, standards, and processes when delivering products, services, and solutions to the Reyes Family of Businesses (RFOB).

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Help design, implement, and mature our new IT Quality Assurance program, including the framework and standards

  • Recommend and drive industry controls and best practices (ex. – ISO9x)

  • Identify and trend IT Quality Assurance program success measurements

  • Facilitate the education / training of the Quality Assurance program (initial / ongoing / new hires)

  • Identify and validate:

  • IT organization’s adherence to IT programs, policies, standards (functional / technical) and processes

  • IT products, services and solutions comply with and achieve quality standards

  • Quality control measures were conducted and analyzed prior to product, service, or solution release to production, including operationalizing support

  • Deviations, deficiencies, and issues are being identified, documented, and assigned to owners

  • IT is completing performance metrics reporting and remediating opportunities

  • Draft quality assurance related documentation and artifacts, such as; quality assurance standards, validation criteria / results, playbook(s), and assist with maintaining the quality assurance documentation repository.

  • Participate in and support Reyes IT strategic solutioning, road mapping and annual planning as related quality assurance.

  • Participate in risk management and audit remediations as related to quality assurance.

  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Math/Sciences, Business Administration, OR 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control or Audit within Information Technology in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control or Audit within Information Technology.

  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 requirements

  • General knowledge of all IT technology platforms and disciplines

  • Strong relationship, analytical and communication skills

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Excellent understanding of functional operational processes

  • Ability to gather and summarize business priorities, strategies, goals, emerging technologies, industry trends, and economic viability from multiple sources and stakeholders.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, teamwork skills, and an engaging personality

  • A proven ability to effectively interface with a diverse range of roles at all levels.

  • Ability to facilitate discussions and deliver engaging, well-organized presentations to senior executive leadership.

  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively across teams in a high performing and matrixed team environment.

  • Ability to help teams navigate ambiguity, change, and competing priorities to drive results in a collaborative and efficient manner without sacrificing quality or deviating from standards and procedures.

  • Demonstrated commitment to a high level of customer service with stakeholders.

  • Must possess a continuous improvement mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify and implement improvements that align with IT and business goals.

  • Passion for excellence, with an unwavering desire to improve and inspires others to do the same.

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
