Become a Management of Change Advisor within the Environmental Services Department at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will join the Environmental Management System Operations team responsible for building, implementing, communicating, and maintaining SCE’s environmental management system (EMS). You will work with environmental program managers and operational partners across the enterprise to build, implement and run an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001 aligned EMS. You’ll lead cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of changes impacting the EMS and coordinate the development of material changes to environmental programs and process to ensure that the company maintains a strong environmental compliance posture. You will interact regularly with SCE senior management and executives to provide innovative strategies and recommendations for ensuring strong implementation of environmental changes to help create a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsible for the development and implementation of the Management of Change process.
Develop and implement a management of change process to effectively communicate and embed environmental requirements into operations.
Performs review of material changes and partners with compliance leads to implement and communicate change to operations.
Acts as a subject matter expert to provide training, documentation, and oversight to support the growth of Environmental Management System (EMS) to help develop others.
Help organize, storyline, and create presentation materials vital for discussions with various audiences including executive leaders.
Support cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes by providing focused support.
Presents EMS impacts and operational material changes to management.
Develops, implements, and reports material changes to key stakeholders impacted by change.
Partners with Environmental Advisors and Sr. Advisors, and business partners to fully embed material changes into Operational Process.
Qualifications
The essentials
- Seven years demonstrated experience in management of change, organizational change management or sustaining an environmental management system.
The preferred
Bachelor’s or higher Degree
PMP Certification
Lean Six Sigma
Change Management Certification
ISO 14001 Certification
Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to analyze complex regulatory and business problems and create innovative solutions
Proven ability to rapidly learn and assimilate complex and technical information in unfamiliar situations and be able to effectively communicate it in a non-technical manner
You should know
This position’s work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
