Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Roseau, MN. From: 04/14/2024 - 11/15/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day. 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Due to the nature of farm work hours will vary based on weather, crop conditions, etc. and workers may be requested, but not required to work longer hours, evenings, weekends, their Sabbath and Federal Holidays. OVERTIME: all hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Must Apply By: 07/31/2024 JOB DESCRIPTION: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest grain crops. Attach Farm implements such as plow, seeder, rock picker to tractor. General lubrication, service, assembly, and repairs to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Other miscellaneous and manual duties assigned. Crops include but not limited to: Barley, wheat, soybeans, corn, edible beans, peanuts, cotton. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months experience, able to lift 60 lbs., able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements. No High School Diploma / GED required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
