UINTAH BASIN MEDICAL CENTER Payor Contracting/Pricing Transparency Coordinator in ROOSEVELT, Utah
The Payor Contracting/Pricing Transparency Coordinator will work directly with the Revenue Cycle Director to assist in all duties associated with payor contracting. The coordinator will assist in the implementation, maintenance, and support of pricing transparency software and initiatives. The coordinator will be the subject matter expert on regulations related to the Pricing Transparency and No Surprises Act regulations.
Job Duties
The contract specialist with perform duties to track, organize, and process documentation and activities related to the organization's contractual arrangements
Conduct credentialing required by Payor contracts for all non-government payers, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice
Track and organize documentation about contractual arrangements for Uintah Basin Healthcare.
Provide support for contract renewals and related departmental communication with the Director of Payer Contracting and business sponsors
Review and analyze contract requirements to ensure completeness and note any compliance requirements
The contract specialist will communicate with the Director and departments regarding compliance requirements, and provide awareness of audit requirements
Provide support related to arrangements and schedules for audits
Process and track credentialing activities related to Payor contracts, including non-government enrollments and revalidations
Assist other team members in processing and track new Medicare and Medicaid enrollments as required or requested and work with Business Sponsor representatives and team to communicate the progress of the enrollment process
Update internal documents with changes and new enrollments
Implement, maintain, and oversee contract management reimbursement analysis software.
Implement, maintain, and oversee patient estimate software
Implement, maintain, and oversee price transparency files, tools, and compliance.
All other duties as assigned

- Intermediate or better Google Sheets/Excel knowledge
- Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCs, and revenue codes is preferred.
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, healthcare management, or closely related field preferred
- Applicants without a degree but with experience in a similar position may be considered
Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare business, revenue cycle, or clinical setting
