Essential Function:Lead various electrical project designs including electrical schematics, electrical power systems, lighting systems, protection, and controls. Electrical schematics include:Schematic Diagrams.Wiring diagrams (Point-to-Point)Standard Block diagrams.Pictorial wiring diagrams.Follow all company, client, and project design and drafting standards.Responsibilities include ensuring that the electrical systems design complies with all applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards.Lead a variety of assignments using prescribed methods and standard techniques including drawing sequence and presentation, sizing various system components, and refining rough sketches.Lead the evaluation of electrical designs or sketches and redlines or mark-ups on ongoing projects for quality assurance.Approve reports, drawings, and tests to plan and lead design projects to meet deliverables.Approve design codes and specifications related to design requirements.Lead production of electrical design drawings within scope, budget, and schedule. Perform project tasks and assignments within budget and deadlines as they relate to electrical design,Compute calculations for conduit/grounding layouts, equipment and panel wiring diagrams, and relay panel schematics under the partnership of the drafting and layout departments.Incorporate schedules, budgets, and project criteria into electrical design and layouts to meet project financial goals.Responsible for the quality review of all revisions of project drawings, plot files, and project-related information in a logical and well-structured manner.Train, mentor, and develop less experienced drafting, detailing, and design staff members where applicable.Responsible for the electrical design QA/QC process adherence.Minimum Background, Experience, and Requirements:        Must be proficient in AutoCad, and SolidEdge or another brand of 3D CAD software.        3 5 years Electrical schematic experience        Proficient in MS Office software suite  &
