Essential Function:Lead various electrical project designs including electrical schematics, electrical power systems, lighting systems, protection, and controls. Electrical schematics include:Schematic Diagrams.Wiring diagrams (Point-to-Point)Standard Block diagrams.Pictorial wiring diagrams.Follow all company, client, and project design and drafting standards.Responsibilities include ensuring that the electrical systems design complies with all applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards.Lead a variety of assignments using prescribed methods and standard techniques including drawing sequence and presentation, sizing various system components, and refining rough sketches.Lead the evaluation of electrical designs or sketches and redlines or mark-ups on ongoing projects for quality assurance.Approve reports, drawings, and tests to plan and lead design projects to meet deliverables.Approve design codes and specifications related to design requirements.Lead production of electrical design drawings within scope, budget, and schedule.
