Ultraform Industries CNC Programmer & Operator in Romeo, Michigan

Ultraform Industries is an automotive supplier located in Romeo Michigan. We specialize in metal stamping and wire forming manufacturing. As a CNC Programmer/Operator of our HAAS three-axis mill, you will play a key role in the success of our organization. Full Time Day Shift Planned Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Saturday overtime scheduled on rare occasion as needed

Hourly pay rate negotiated based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with blueprints with special attention to what must be machined
  • Perform 2D/3D machining including rough/semi/finish
  • Knowledgeable in the use of Mastercam software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly
  • Experience with ferrous metals required.
  • Experience with die details: block square up / plates
  • Edit programs at the CNC mill or using CAM when necessary
  • Knowledge of tools required to cut particular materials and ability to program machine accordingly
  • Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
  • Incorporate use of tools for verification that work is accurately completed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machine as they arise
  • Perform basic machine maintenance, such as cleaning, on CNC mill

Experience with HAAS CNC Mill is a plus
