Belcan is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our aerospace team, focusing on maintaining and enhancing quality standards in manufacturing processes and products.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or has equivalent experience in aerospace quality engineering. Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing desired.

  • Experience with Material Review Board (MRB) processes, Manufacturing Process Reviews.

  • Exposure to PFMEA, PPAP, and a variety of Quality tools and systems.

  • Strong capabilities in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions (RCCA).

  • Knowledgeable about ISO and AS9100 quality standards, manufacturing processes, blueprints, and specifications.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US; US citizenship required due to the nature of the work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in tracking, documenting, and managing non-conforming hardware with quality tools.

  • Review and approve Vendor Operation Sheets to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, customers, stakeholders, and peers.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).

  • Participate in MRB activities, including assessing non-conformances, making disposition decisions, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

  • Engage in Manufacturing Process Reviews, Controlled Builds, and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities.

Desired Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

  • Experience with SAP, Team Center, Solumina, and/or DIOS is beneficial.

  • AS9100 REV-D Internal Audit certification is an asset.

  • Familiarity with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
