Abbott Product Specialist Catania (Sicilia Nord-Orientale) Temporary Contract in Rome, Italy

The Product Specialist works Promoting and obtaining acceptance and approval of the products , in order to maximize prescriptions and achieve the assigned goals. Operating in compliance with the laws in force and the Group Code of Conduct.

He / she need to be able to Identify and develop relationships with HCPs (MD and other Health Care operators) by providing appropriate information in order to increase the use of the products (prescriptions) and listing in tenders.

Main responsibilities:

  • Promote and obtain acceptance of the formulations and approval of the products , in order to maximize prescriptions and achieve the assigned goals. Operating in compliance with the laws in force and the Group Code of Conduct

  • Identify and develop relationships with HCPs (MD and other Health Care operators) by providing appropriate information in order to increase the use of the products (prescriptions) and listing in tenders.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and decision makers (pharmacists, tender managers and procurement departments ).

  • Ensure the implementation of information visits to doctors and hospital pharmacies in the area of competence, according to the methods indicated in the cycle program (following the general company organizational rules and the indications of the Area Manager)

  • Filling in and sending the visit reports with all the information requested and collaborating with all the other company actors, at headquarters and in the field, in order to safeguard the company's interests.

  • Guarantee, during visits, an accuracy of data transmission, a high quality of information and an adequate degree of clarity of communication to develop correct scientific information so as to contribute to the dissemination of the company's products, referring to health professionals any information on medical information topics, on illustrative material, according to the indications of your Area Manager.

  • To guarantee through the IT equipment provided by the company, the correct exchange of information, data analysis, according to company programs and in compliance with the privacy regulations regarding the processing of sensitive data.

  • Ensure the correct storage and transport, according to company directives, of pharmaceutical assays .

  • Promptly detect and report any report or relief expressed by health professionals on the Company's drugs (promptly informing, whenever necessary, the Pharmacovigilance bodies and other persons in charge), taking care of updating the data of the assigned area.

  • Collaborate in any information research courses, seminars, conferences and meetings promoted by the Company in the area of competence.

  • Identify customer issues and goals , develop needs using a consultative approach

  • Participate in courses, seminars, conferences and meetings organized by the Company, ensuring the technical professional growth necessary to maintain the level of professionalism required by the job and collaborative relationships with industry operators.

Minimum requirements:

  • Degree in scientific subjects;

  • Good knowledge of English and fluent in Italian;

  • Good knowledge of main Office software (in particular Excel)

  • Just got Degree or better 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in companies in the HC sector: Nutrition (preferred), Pharma or OTC (Medical Devices can be evaluated if the Degree allow the PS job position)
