Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

Lead warehouse operations in a LOGCAP mission, overseeing inventory management, logistics, and personnel to ensure efficient supply chain operations supporting mission objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all activities within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, inventory control, and distribution of supplies and equipment.

  • Ensure adherence to inventory management procedures, accurate record-keeping, and efficient utilization of warehouse space.

  • Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement control measures to maintain accurate stock levels.

  • Coordinate with procurement teams to manage stock replenishment, monitor stock movement, and handle surplus or obsolete items appropriately.

  • Collaborate with logistics personnel to facilitate timely and accurate receipt and dispatch of materials, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and mission requirements.

  • Plan and optimize logistics processes, including transportation, packaging, and warehousing, to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.

  • Lead and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Delegate tasks effectively, manage work schedules, and foster a cohesive team environment to achieve operational goals.

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, security protocols, and compliance with LOGCAP and military standards.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections, implement corrective actions, and maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to inventory, shipments, and warehouse operations.

  • Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and operational performance as required by LOGCAP regulations.

  • Supervise maintenance and repairs of warehouse equipment, ensuring operational readiness and coordinating with maintenance teams as needed.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and operational efficiencies within the warehouse environment.

  • Implement best practices and contribute to the development of standardized procedures for warehouse operations.

  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Must have at least 7 years of experience with CLI Warehouse Operations.

  • Requires knowledge and access to the Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) and DLA Subsistence Total Order and Receipt Electronic System (STORES).

  • Must have familiarity with AR 30-22, DA PAM 30-22, TB MED 530 and TM 4_41x12.

  • Must be ServSafe certified.
