As Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients all over the world. Our business is based on a trusted, long-lasting net of relationships with industry leaders, both on the supplier and customer side.

What will you do:

Arrow is looking for an Account Manager to join our Sales team to help us with our expansion plans in the Rome region. The role is sales focused and target driven. You will be responsible for securing new business and maintaining an excellent level of customer service to current customers. The individual will be required to plan strategies and develop all key relationships to ensure strong foundation for solution selling. Maintaining and promoting relationships with customer contacts who will be determining design opportunities and deal with existing business challenges.

What are your tasks:

  • Define critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory, plan strategy and develop all key relationships to ensure strong foundation for solution selling.

  • Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts who may be determining design opportunities and deal with existing business challenges.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction as it pertains to supply chain management and other value-added services. Requires experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment.

  • Extensive understanding of pricing programs and models within the electronics industry.

  • Demand Creation - drive agreed supplier initiatives and maximize Arrow design in content and technical services.

  • Have a clear record of what development projects each customer has and what stage they are at.

  • Requires comprehensive ability to develop strategic plans for all assigned accounts, sell and market full set of Arrow offerings incorporating knowledge of Arrow's key supplier lines.

  • Must be able to promote and sell the value add, supply chain, and full life cycle programs offered by Arrow.
