I-State Truck Center is looking for Day and Night shift Diesel Technicians for our Brand-New building and location in Rogers Minnesota! I-State Truck Center will be opening the 50,000 square facility in October and are looking for new team members to join. This shop will boast brand new State of the art features and amenities, 24 full-service bays, covered service check in area and many more. We are looking for talented Diesel Technicians to join our team specializing in Freightliner, Detroit, Allison, Cummins, CAT products and more. Job Duties Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all types of trucks Accurately and efficiently diagnose complex engine conditions and make necessary repairs. Communicate effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding those repairs. Quality control work performed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion Meet requirements for certifications Position Requirements Valid Driver's license (Class A CDL preferred but not required) Must possess a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and be reliable. Must possess an excellent understanding of Detroit Diesel engines through the current GHG17 product. Experience with other engine platforms such as Cummins, CAT, & International are a plus. Other mechanical skills desired but not essential: Hydraulics, Brakes & Suspension, Manual Transmissions and drive train, automatic transmissions.
