Full Time, Entry-Level Position - No experience necessary - Training Provided

General Scope of Responsibilities: Responsible for running of the machine in a safe and productive manner, ensuring the quality of the product and performing necessary quality checks, packaging, recording production. Must be willing to be part of a team environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Follow all plant work and safety rules.
  • Ensure the product meets or exceeds customer and internal specifications.
  • Perform all necessary quality control testing and record all data, accurately, as required.
  • Package product in boxes or returnable containers/racks and accurately record all information on all necessary paperwork.
  • Fill out product identification labels and make cartons.
  • Continuously inspect product for defects.
  • Work rotating work schedule and overtime as assigned.
  • Perform necessary housekeeping in work area.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and necessary.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • The employee is required to stand long hours on a daily basis, over 8 hours in a day.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Possess detailed observation skills.
  • Operate all levers and controls.
  • Must be able to concentrate continuously on task.

Education or Trade Knowledge Required:

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate.
  • Must basic mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
  • Must be able to operate a computer, having basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to successfully pass all required training courses.
  • Must be able to read and understand simple drawings.
  • Must be able to understand and fulfill job duties in a timely manner as reviewed by supervisor.

Work Schedule

We are a continuous operation facility. All shifts available.
