Role reports to: Business Intelligence Manager

Location: Rogers, Arkansas

What You Will Do

The Associate Manager of Business Intelligence is responsible for supporting the Business Intelligence Manager with curating data driven category and customer insights to assist our sales leadership team in driving strategic decision making to improve Kenvue’s business performance on the Walmart account.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding analytical support to the Kenvue-Walmart Business Intelligence and Sales Leadership teams; provide insightful weekly reporting to the broader team

  • Maintain an outside-in focus by staying up-to-date with current industry and business trends (micro and macro) and synthesize them into easily digestible content

  • Uncover action driving insights with analytics using a diverse toolkit including, but not limited to: POS/Retailer Data, Syndicated Data, Marketplace & HH Panel Assessments, and Walmart Luminate

  • Work with internal Shopper/Category partners on research opportunities: provide voice-of-customer, facilitate research projects, and activate findings to be customer-specific

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for analytics resources and drive best-practice/ standardized adoption and usage across the team

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive data-driven decision-making

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required and minimum of (2-4) years in customer insights, category insights, consumer or relevant business intelligence/analytics experience is required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Knowledge of computer technology, analytical software programs (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Numerator), MS Office Suite

  • Excel proficiency (Formulas, Pivot Tables, Charts) and assessment of data to draw accurate conclusions

Desired Qualifications

  • Fluent in interpreting shopper and category insights research and a strong understanding of syndicated data (IRI or Nielsen) and panel data (e.g. Numerator); preferred experience with Walmart’s Luminate platform

  • Ability to confidently produce and speak to accurate insights at various audience levels

  • Ability to quickly understand new data/concepts and integrate them into data driven storytelling

  • Keen attention to detail where it matters while keeping the ‘big picture’ in mind

  • Ability to develop and manage project plans and to implement, execute and draw conclusions from a variety of customer, category and shopper studies and data is required

  • Preferred: experience with SQL/Power Query/ data processing

  • Preferred: familiarity with industry insights such as Kantar, Nicholas Hall, Mintel, etc…
