Waste Connections Loader Operator in Rocky View, Alberta

Waste Connections of Canada has immediate openings for a Loader Operator at our Calgary district. Our priority is to give our drivers a great paying career with great incentives! As a Loader Operator you are responsible for waste and recycling collection services in various municipalities. You will ensure that the waste and recycling collection is safely transported and disposed at designated transfer stations or landfills. This job is very physical and works outside in all weather conditions.

COMPETITIVE HOURLY RATE & INCENTIVES:

  • $22.00 per hourly

  • Company Paid Benefits + RRSP Match

  • Be home daily! Monday-Friday - Day Shift

Duties:

  • Operating a Loader to feed the lines with materials in a state-of-the-art automated materials recovery/recycling plant.

  • Safety inspection on equipment before and after use.

  • General housekeeping duties in designated areas.

  • Safely operating in hot zones.

Qualifications:

  • Must be physically fit.

  • Good hand-eye coordination.

  • Safety conscious.

  • Motivated and productive.

  • Mechanical aptitude/maintenance experience an asset.

  • A criminal record check will be required.
