Job Summary/Description:

WFSB is searching for a part-time MMJ/Reporter to join the Eyewitness News team with hours as needed to include nights, early mornings, and/or weekends. Looking for a journalist who excels at uncovering, not just covering, news. Must thrive in a fast-paced, breaking news-first environment.

Please note- the primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed above

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a professional journalist.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of Connecticut and New England is also a plus
  • Competitive, energetic and self-starter
  • Strong writing and organizational skills
  • Enjoy a fast paced environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
