*PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT* Assists in the daily operational duties of the energy department, including the maintenance of energy inventory and equipment, energy service work, and energy deliveries as needed. Provides prompt customer service to increase satisfaction and maintain the reputation and profitability of the organization. _ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS_ Provides service work for propane, liquid fuels, and lubricant tanks. Performs tank setup and delivery for all segments of the Energy Department. Performs repairs and maintenance of equipment as needed. Maintains an appropriate inventory of parts on service trucks necessary for minor repairs and maintenance. Provide coverage for the Energy/Propane Sales and Delivery Specialists as needed. Responsible for keeping company assets clean, neat, and organized, maintaining a professional image. Helps meet company goals by improving efficiency and reducing costs through collaboration efforts. Provides customer service in a timely and accurate manner to increase customer satisfaction and maintain the reputation and profitability of the organization. Works with the Energy Operations Manager on all safety and compliance issues. Develops and maintains a record of company and customer-owned tanks and equipment. Ensures accurate communication of all relevant information around inventory management and billing of products and services. Installs and maintains customer and company Energy systems. Adheres to company credit policy. Maintains department equipment and vehicles for safe and proper operating conditions. May be required to help other departments within New Century FS. _ OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS_ Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. Attends GROWMARK product training events as needed. _ REQUIREMENTS_ Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and organizational skills and basic mechanic skills. Required skills include minor equipment service/maintenance/adjustments (Fuel and Propane), inventory control, collaboration, communication, customer focus, and skill development. Knowledge of electrical wiring. Ability to weld a variety of materials. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Ability to obtain a Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsements. Ability to achieve and maintain Certified Employee Training Program (CETP) certification for the Propane duties. Ability to learn GROWMARK software programs. Frequently exposed or required to: · Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) · Noisy conditions · Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures. · May be required to work at varying heights. · Confined spaces · Lift 51-70 pounds · Required to push heavy objects. Ability to work extended hours during seasonal demands. Ability to travel independently and overnight on occasion. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
